The Venmo Credit Card could be the best card for Walmart AND Costco

I got my hands on the Venmo Credit Card from Synchrony Bank last summer, and I have to say, it's been a pretty solid addition to my wallet. I actually received a special targeted offer that gave me $250 after spending $1,000 on the card, which was a fantastic start!

One of the standout features of this card is its cash back rewards system. It offers a tiered structure where you earn 3% back on your top spending category, 2% on the next, and 1% on everything else. The best part? These categories adjust automatically each month based on where you spend the most, so you don't have to worry about selecting them yourself.

Also, this cash back card gives you ACTUAL cash back. At the end of the statement closing period, the cash back you earn each month will be deposited in your Venmo account, where you can use it to pay friends, transfer to a bank account, or to actually invest in Crypto within the Venmo app if you want.

If you're like me and do a lot of shopping at places like Costco and Walmart, you'll be pleased to know that you can earn that 3% cash back there. It's a great way to maximize your rewards on everyday purchases.

Now, let's talk about fees. The Venmo Credit Card comes with no annual fee, which is a big plus in my book. There is a weird $1.99 fee that would come into play if you request a paper statement, but if you’re good with online statements, then that doesn’t matter. There’s also no foreign transaction fees.

Another thing I love is how seamlessly the card integrates with the Venmo app. You can manage everything right from the app—track your spending, view your rewards, and even make payments. Plus, if you're already using Venmo to split bills with friends, this card makes it even easier.

Overall, if you're looking for a card that offers flexible rewards and integrates well with your digital lifestyle, the Venmo Credit Card is definitely worth considering. And that $250 bonus offer was just the cherry on top!
